#6 What's coming out of your mouth?

Parts of this teaching are taken from Gloria Copeland's Health & Wellness book.

Matthew 12:34 "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh"

What does that say to you?

How important are your words?

You will find these answers below.

Proverbs 4:24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

For many it can tough at first to not speak the circumstance. Sometime things just slip out and we speak what we are feeling instead of what we know. But then again what we know has to out shadow that what we might be feeling. That is one of the purposes of this blog, is to increase your knowledge about healing and with knowledge comes wisdom. Now some might be reading this and thinking this is so silly. I hear people say all the time say things that they do not mean. I call them reckless words and what happens when we are reckless? Reckless can lead to wrecks and I am not talking about those that happen in cars but those that happen in our bodies and lives.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. I think it is sad that many religions believe this scripture but then take about those that believe we have what we say. Because it is based on the power of confession! Think about these words, "with the mouth confession is made unto salvation". If through confession salvation is made then through confession your health will be made. You can apply this to every area of your life and should. But that does not mean I just speak, set and wait! NO, I put my faith in action. I change the things that I can and move forward never looking back again....

When I first made Jesus the Lord of my life in 1991 these two scriptures stood out more than any at that time and still are a very big part of all that I teach. Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. How can anyone in their right mind argue with the power of confession after reading these scriptures? HOW? So what mountain is standing in your way today? Speak to it and tell it what to do once and for all. Notice it Jesus did not say talk about the mountain, He said speak to it. So the next time you are ready to speak a circumstance stop and instead speak a truth. Truth is really all that matters and God's Word is the only real truth!

Let's look at another set of scriptures. Romans 4:17 tells us to "...calleth those things which be not as though they were". Now that is not telling us to live in denial but instead faith and expectation. In Romans 4:21 it tells us, "And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform". We must fully believe without any part of us doubting. As we are fully persuaded, there is no room for doubt any longer.

Pro 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue. It is amazing how something so small can do so much, but it is no different than the power of a ships rutter. They both give direction and with the wrong direction the results can be deadly. Your tongue is a deciding factor in your life. Pro 6:2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

So with all that you have read in this teaching, let me ask you once again. What's coming out of your mouth? Is it life or death? If it has been death, put those words under the Blood of Jesus and ask for forgiveness and start over. it's never to late to start over.

I pray this teaching has been a blessing to you. Also I would love to hear from you with praise reports, prayer request, and anything else you would like to share.

Remember to keep reaching forward,
Keith
